Prepare for Brexit Breakfast Event

BOI Brexit

Date: Tuesday, 24th October

Time: 8.00am to 10.00am

Venue: The Tower Hotel, Waterford

Presentations by:

  • Paul Nolan, Group Development Manager, Dawn Meats

  • Katie Daughan, Head of Brexit Research and Support Services, British Irish Chamber of Commerce
  • Michael Lauhoff, Head of Business Banking, Bank of Ireland

Bank of Ireland is holding a series of ‘Prepare for Brexit’ events across the country, during September and October, to help ensure that businesses are Brexit-ready.

At the events, we’ll run through the potential implications of Brexit on business and encourage you to plan a business analysis session using a Brexit Diagnostic Tool.

Each event consists of four core elements:

  • An industry body or umbrella group describing a range of Brexit outcomes and the issues they and their members are facing;

  • An accountancy firm outlining how best to use a Brexit Diagnostic Tool and customer experience to date;

  • A business talking about how they used the Tool, the lessons learned, mitigating actions taken and the benefits of preparation and planning in an uncertain environment;

  • A Bank of Ireland spokesperson highlighting the findings from Bank research while emphasising the potential business opportunities created by Brexit;
