Home Instead Senior Care shortlisted in Irish Franchise Association Awards

The Home Instead Senior Care franchise network in Ireland has been named a Finalist in the 2017 Irish Franchise Association Awards. It has been shortlisted in the Best Franchise System and Best Practice category and is testament to the quality management system and service offered by the 25 Home Instead Senior Care offices throughout Ireland.

Emma Schutte, Operations Manager of the Home Instead Senior Care national network, is responsible for ensuring a franchise and operations system that helps creates the environment for franchise offices in Ireland to be successful and provide an unrivalled home care service.

"This award nomination is a tremendous accolade to the home care franchise model utilised by the 25 Home Instead Senior Care offices throughout the country. Historically, the organisation has been recognised for customer service; business growth and quality management systems - none of which would be possible without the very best franchise system and a commitment to best practice by every franchise owner. I would like to thank and acknowledge our franchise owners for their commitment to the franchise system and making this award nomination possible.”

Danette Connolly, Director of Care at Home Instead Senior Care Waterford said: "On a local level, I hope this award resonates with our team of home care experts and professional caregivers. These committed individuals have taken the franchise system and applied it to ensure the very best home care service is provided in the local community. They also make Home Instead Senior Care a great place to work and we would not receive this recognition without our community-based team".

The Best Franchise System and Best Practice award is bestowed upon a franchise that evidences a way of working that enables profitable revenue growth, with a focus on operational excellence and quality standards.

The award winner will be officially announced Friday, 19th May, at a black tie gala dinner in St Helen's, Radisson Blu in Dublin.

Pimbrook formed after marriage of two of Ireland’s most highly respected Sage partners

Pimbrook006

As of April 26th, two of Ireland’s most respected Sage partners have merged and will now be known as Pimbrook.

The marriage of Pims Business Systems and Brook Software Solutions has resulted in a dynamic new company that currently services over 1,000 customer sites. It combines Pims’ expertise in Sage 50 and Payroll with Brook’s expertise in Sage 200 and Warehouse Management.

The new company brings over seventeen years of experience to bear as an accredited Sage Developer and Reseller, responsible for developing, implementing and supporting Sage Business Management Solutions for clients right throughout Ireland.

Speaking at the official launch of Pimbrook, Managing Director Stephanie Davis commented that “the coming together of two companies that were very successful in their own right has delivered genuine synergy to our clients. They now have access to an extensive portfolio of Sage Accounting and Payroll Software, Industry Specific Solutions and the best Customer Service in the industry.”

“We now have a wider than ever portfolio of products and services - all delivered with the same level of customer-centred professionalism that characterised the individual Pims and Brook companies. This obvious fit in customer service ethos – along with a partnership approach to doing business - was one of the main reasons for the merger to Pimbrook.”

Pimbrook has retained all its former staff at its offices in Dublin and Waterford. As well as specialising in Sage 200 and Sage 50, the company also offers a wealth of experience and expertise across critical business functions from payroll and accounts to supply chain management and business intelligence, and from warehouse management and stock control to mobile trading and CRM.
