Go-2-Tender Workshop


Go-2-Tender is an InterTradeIreland programme which has been developed to give SMEs the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to tender successfully for public sector contracts in their own jurisdiction and on a cross-border basis.


The programme is geared towards SMEs who are new to tendering or who want to improve their basic tendering skills. The course consists of a two day workshop and a half day of mentoring. This mentoring may be extended by up to 2 additional days and all mentoring is delivered by an experienced consultant to assist with tender development.

  • How to assess opportunities using live examples

  • Improving your document writing skills
  • Checklist of tender content and how it should be presented
  • Debriefing following tender competitions
  • Action planning for successful tendering

Go-2-Tender provides excellent value for money and includes training, materials, catering and mentoring. The cost is £85 or €100 per person.

Updating your contracts from 2017: consider Mediation


Chambers Ireland, in partnership with the Law Society, CIArb, Mediator’s Institute and the Courts Service, launched a Business and Commercial Mediation Scheme last year with the objective of promoting the use of mediation as a cost and resource efficient way for businesses to resolve commercial disputes. CSR online Tool for SMEs and CSR Newsletter


Minister Breen and


Minister Pat Breen recently launched a CSR online Tool for SMEs which allows small and medium size businesses to assess their business practices under the four pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility: Community, Environment, Workplace and Suppliers & Customers. Information about CSR and supports available to SMEs will then be sent to businesses that engage with the Tool. It can be accessed online here.
